I've never been a fan of site pop-ups because they're annoying. Especially those that appear EVERY SINGLE TIME you go to a site. However, I recently came across this new site: www.getsitecontrol.com where you can create a variety of pop-ups widgets such as surveys, promotions, listbuilders, social media share and follow widgets and chat widgets. For a more comprehensive list of use cases, visit their blog page here. These widgets are FREE. Yup totally free. Except that the free version does not let you use the cute icons shown above. So what do you think? Yay or Nay? Should I stop using these widgets on my site? Tell me in the survey you see! P.S. Try them out! If you write a post like this on your blog, you'll get 3 month of their plus subscription. Click on this link to go to the site (referral link, all proceeds go to the campaign).

Some interesting and /or amusing facts about my campaign:
Other interesting insights that I gathered from research that I did: 1. Men donate competitively - if they see large donations by other men, they tend to donate more 2. Please let me know if you or your company would be interested in launching a campaign too! Once again, thank you to all my supporters and all my FUTURE supporters ;) Debbie |
